While Die Zeit and Spiegel wanted a piece of that realness with their pretty much unnecessary articles, you still might want to think about what german rave culture has turned into (check Detlef D Soost on the McFit Float and the worth-to-participate moves of that Fuckparade counterstrike) Now these thoughts collide rather smoothly with the beautiful discussion about the sell-out of Dubstep.

Thats Skreams La Roux Remix f’ed up by that Freak Beardyman. Now the original tune made it as far as giving Skream a well deserved gold record; it seems to be that one wobble song that everybody knows.

Especially because there is this later produced remix with Snoop Dogg. At least it’s true that this production is musically quite awful compared to the original.

Wer letztes Jahr im Hamburger Docks beim Redman Konzert gewesen ist, der wird sich noch gut an dessen Support-Act erinnern. Es war Zion I und der heizte das volle Haus so dermaßen ein, dass Reggie Nobel danach vollgas geben mußte um da mit zu halten (dafür war sich der King of  Gutter  während seiner Show sogar  4 Mal ins Publikum). Dies Mal ist Zion I der Haupt-Act und der Detroiter Frank N Dank macht Support.

There is another great musician to remember: “The Crown Price of Reggea” died 10 years ago on July 1st of 1999.

Oliver from Silly Walks Discotheque will make his well known Reggeanight at Astra Stube a special one on friday the 3rd in memory of one of the finest singers and songwriters that the jamaican folk music has to offer.
